Data license

Plain-English summary: use the data for your own trading, research, and internal business work. Don't resell or republish the files themselves.

What you may do

• Use the data for personal trading and investment research.
• Backtest, model, and analyze -- commercially or otherwise -- for yourself or within your own company.
• Store copies on your own machines, servers, and private cloud storage (including private data lakes and warehouses).
• Publish results derived from the data: charts, statistics, research papers, blog posts, strategy performance figures. Derived aggregates that cannot be used to reconstruct the underlying bars are yours.
• Feed the data to AI/ML models and coding agents you operate, including via the MCP server.

What you may not do

• Redistribute the raw data files -- no reselling, repackaging, public hosting, torrenting, or bundling them into a product whose users can extract the OHLCV series.
• Offer the data (or a trivially transformed copy of it) as a dataset, API, or download to third parties, paid or free.
• Share your account or download credentials outside your organization.

Scope & term

• The license is granted per account, to you or your single organization, on payment for an archive.
• It is perpetual for data you have downloaded: if you cancel Keep Current or your account closes, you keep the right to use files already delivered.
• The data is provided as-is, for informational purposes; it is not investment advice, and accuracy is not warranted despite our quality controls. See the terms of service for the full warranty/liability language.
